Chuck Lamb, 47, of Columbus, Ohio (the state that's round on the ends and high in the middle) has a dream. He wants to be in a movie or TV show as a dead body. That shouldn't really be a problem given the number of forensic crime programs that are stacking up like cordwood around the dial on the old Admiral.
But how do you break into the dead body business? Practice!
You might need a license to buy a gun but anybody can get a web site and that's exactly what Chuck has done.
After all, it provides Chuck with all the cyberspace he needs to display his unique talent of posing dead (remember kids, don't try this at home -- Chuck thinks he's a professional).
Now, if Chuck doesn't buy the farm on the silver screen, he might be able to afford an acre or two from the revenue he'll earn from his ad-laden site.
Which begs the question ... is this dramatic aspiration or simply an internet attention-getting device. Where's Charlie Chan when you need him?
Update: Looks like Lamb got his wish after being cast in Stiffs, a Danny Aiello/Jon Polito film that was set to be released later in 2006.
