Clean sweep

Marie Rose's husband woke up one day to find his wife missing.

He looked around the house for quite a while but didn't find her. He finally called the police.

After ten hours of searching the home the police found her -- buried under a pile of debris.

Police Chief Terry Davenport of Washington State's Shelton Police Department said, "In some areas, clothes and debris were piled 6 feet high. Officers were having to climb over the top on their hands and knees."

Officers found clothing, dishes and boxes crammed from floor to ceiling in every room of the couple's house.

The woman's husband told a local TV station that she had health problems and may have been looking for the phone when she died.

Fire and city code inspectors released the home back to the family after inspecting it.

Marie Rose died January 5th, 2006 at the age of 62 from suffocation.
